Always Ask!

In the article “You say you love catfish? How safe do you think it is to eat?” The author highlights how Government is not paying enough attention to the high volume of imported catfish without being inspected properly. Here, Hager mentions the lack of interest of the many chemicals and contaminated catfish that has been imported and the terrible causes that this can carry. I agree with the author because he bases this important article in an investigative report from NBC “Today” in which emphasizes in detail the magnitude of this matter by explaining in more detail the way catfish has been treated. Moreover, Hager filed a billed and warned people from Texas and other states to care more about this issue by asking Catfish restaurant’s owners the safety of their food whether imported or domestic. Also, the way he points out this matter take my attention in a way that I will be more concern at the time of going to eat any imported fish.

The New Face of Texting

Now, with the advanced technology and the lack of communication with our teenagers, the entire world is facing a terrible situation that is going out of control. In the article “Give parents, authorities, teens tools to deal with sexting,” the author highlights the important issue that The State of Texas is going through. Sen. Kirk Watson is working on a bill to remit to the Legislature about the offense of sexting, in which parents and teenagers involve in this criminal offense will have to pay a fine up to $500.
Here, the author remarks the type of offenses that adults and teenagers will have to confront if Texas Government approves it. However, school districts are working on educating and preventing this important matter that became a problem in our society. Also, parents have been aware in getting more involved in their children lives and their use with cell phones.
It is important to keep in mind that if this new law is either approved or revoked, we have to pay more attention to our teenagers and increase our communication with them. In doing so, we will avoid unplanned pregnancy and other issues.
